Aug 2007 - CREMARK for farm and country business watch

The CRE PRODUCTS team have recently agreed a partnership offer with Lincolnshire Police enabling the CRE MARK overt property marking system to be made available to members of the counties Farm and Business Watch members. Aimed at tools and I.T. equipment owned by farmers and other businesses, many of whom are sited in isolated rural areas of the county, details of CRE MARK were circulated in the recent Watch newsletter. CRE director Bob French commented “Thieves target these rural areas because they know there is little chance of a police officer seeing them. So its up to the individual to take as many steps as they can to protect their property. If the premises are well locked down and equipment is overtly marked up it gives thieves twice as much grief in obtaining and selling on stolen items. We are pleased to be associated with Lincolnshire Police with this project”.
