Saturday 20th June saw the CRE Products team visit High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, where CRE director Reg Burrell joined Geoff Pegg Chairman of Wycombe District Neighbourhood Watch Association and his colleagues together with officials from Trading Standards and Drug Awareness teams in a joint Community Safety action day. The event was held in the popular Eden shopping centre and attracted hundreds of visitors to the displays, which also had the presence of local PCSO’s and the local Crime Prevention & Reduction Advisor, Gemma Herbert to offer relevant advice.
Geoff, who organised the event, was pleased with how the day went and said of CRE’s attendance, “Very many thanks for taking the trouble to take part in the event. We were kept pretty busy throughout the day”.
Having purchased a quantity of CRE MARK for TOOLS kits Geoff and his colleagues in the Wycombe District Neighbourhoodwatch Association are now making them available to the 600 NHW schemes, which include 1200 co-ordinators and several thousand Watch members that they cover.
All at CRE Products thank Geoff and his colleagues for the warm welcome we received on Saturday and wish you well for your future activities.
