Bury Police have been suffering two to three burglaries a week at local schools, where overhead projectors and laptops have been stolen. Having obtained funding from Bury Crime Prevention Panel they have now purchased a quantity of CRE Mark for I.T. overt property marking kits to give the schools equipment Instant Thief Protection. With every school now having thousands of pounds worth of computers and other electrical items it soon causes major problems when burglars treat the premises as an easy shopping and money making solution.

"We have been marking school equipment locally with CRE Mark since the product first became commercially available. Word soon spreads that everything is covered in the school name and not worth stealing and as it is so easy to apply you do not have to take weeks to get every item marked" commented CRE Products director Bob French.
